How do I to reduce flywheel weigh of this Alfa which has two flywheels, at the engine and mount with rear gearbox?
How many Kg should I do?
Thanks,
Tiger 00
Dont go below 7 kg!!! you'll have problems of blowing front driveshaft flex joint.
you should take weight off the thick outer section wich will also reduce rotating mass.
they key to drive shaft guibo lasting a long time with light flywheel is perfect balance. If you are fitting a lightweight flywheel, ideally you need to get the crank, rods, pistons, front pulley and flywheel balanced together.
