Shows how much I know... I was thinking that a Montreal 2.6 V8 should fit into an Alfetta GT/GTV6 engine bay, well low and behold AutoDelta did between 12 and 20 of these in 1977 for a German distributor.

ohh god...i think i need a change of underwear

switch it up to the 5bolt wheels/spindles/brakes a lsd milano transaxle and we be in heaven....i REALY like that hood too.."almost" gtv6 but not quite

got any more shots?...id LOVE to see how well the engine fit....cause the last pics i saw of the underhood of a monty got me thinking it was almost the same engine bay

seen that vid befor and had no idea what i was looking at....just knew i drooled at the sound of it

id imagine that throws the 50/50 balance right out the window and then some LOL

does alfa still make a v8?

That thing is fantastic. Sounds a bit like has a flat plane crank.

Shortlife, I don't think Alfa do a V8 anymore, but I heard they were using the Maserati 4.2 for the 159 GTA that's coming out soon:cool:

AT1, you must have missed the previous discussion about this car, the GTV8. I think you will find a lot of answers here:

There are two GTV8 cars in Germany. One of them the testcar for the german project(red) and the other a self built car(champagne) built with some Autodelta parts late in the nineties. Both guys have their own homepage with a lot of informative photos.
