Don't have a pic to show at the moment. Would take some serious digging to find the spare I have. But, here's a quick description---

That part is a small black plastic skeleton-like frame to hold a cylindrical bulb (like found in the courtesy lights). Very thin, fragile, and flimsy... with snap fingers that click into the opening under the hood. The heat rising off the engine makes an already fragile part now brittle. For a part that needs to be removed from time-to-time to replace the bulb... not a great design or material selection. So, I have my doubts on finding a decent replacement. But, worth trying. Good luck.

That's great thanks.. :) does the light come on as soon as you open the bonnet at any time or do the headlights need to be on?

I think the type of lamp depends on the year.

This shows the white one that looks like the one above:-

Whereas the GTV6 has the black one that breaks and falls to pieces and is meant to clip into a slot under the bonnet (photos in link give some idea of where it is located):-

Yes, the head lights need to be on for the lamp to illuminate.

Hi Guys,

This is the bonnet light I've bought off Chris from Highwood Alfa. Anyone looking for any parts, I highly recommend Chris. He has been very helpful with any queries I have had since purchasing the gtv. Prices are very reasonable and shipping is very fast.

I was just wondering where the lamp needs to go.
