G'day Everyone,

I'm just back from 2 weeks in Thailand, 1 week in Phuket and 1 in Bangkok.
I was amazed that during the entire trip I saw only 3 Alfa's in total and all 3 were in Phuket. I saw two newer 156's but most suprising given the heat and humidity was a 105 Berlina 2ltr.

The Berlina was bright yellow in colour and looked pretty shinny and rust free. Hard to tell accurately when passing at speed though. Would guess it was a 73 or 74 model. Does anyone know this car or has anyone seen it also whilst touring Thailand. More importantly, why hasn't it disintergrated in the Thai weather.

Also, what is the general presense and status of modern and older Alfa models in Thailand in general?

Cheers

Thailand, I'm not sure but there's at least a couple of Malaysian members on the BB and they have 105s.

I used to live in Singapore a few years ago and there were quite a few classic Alfas to be seen. In fact there were quite a few classics in general. I think Alfas were quite popular in S.E Asia, but as you say the climate isn't exactly conducive to keeping them alive.
