Perfect weather, wonderful racing, great times!

Thanks to all for coming.
Thanks to you, Dick, Rob,...... for putting on a great event. The Alfa racing guys are like a family. The great discus thrower Al Oerter once said "I never competed against anyone, I always competed with them." That was the spirit that was on display all weekend. I was privileged to be in your company. I hope that those of you with blown engines and damaged transmissions are able to get your cars back to racing condition in a short time.

Is that Pranka's purple car up front? And what's Stahly got under the hood? Crazy fast lap time up there.

Was this Alfa event a one-time thing? Someday I'd like to join that fray out East.

Maroon..... Yes, a very fast and well driven car by Mr Pranka.

And Terry, well, he has a fast car, and he drove well.

I think the Alfa race community draws me to Alfas even more than the cars. 1100 mile trip home and we never tired of talking about the many nice Alfa enthusiast we spent the weekend with.

AWESOME weekend !!!!!!!

There are few guys who are not listed in the Alfa Race results because they had mechanical problems that kept them out of the final race. IMO the most impressive was Mark Brummond from Charlotte NC. Mark has been racing less than a year and he was the highest placed Alfa in group 2 with his GTV6 which is still in early development. It should be one to watch. He lost 3rd gear in the Sunday morning race.
