Alfamiglia Nordest Convention Update

The 2015 Alfa Romeo Convention is coming together in spectacular fashion! Hotel rooms are filling up (early registration rate ends April 30th, see registration form), the rally’s and tours are almost filled and the pre-tour is sold out!
Time trial participants can’t wait to get their Alfas on the new track at the historic Thompson race track, and the parade laps will give the driver in all of us a taste of this beautifully laid out track.
One of the week’s highlights just recently finalized, is Thursday night’s visit and dinner on Providence’s famous Federal Hill. The merchant’s association is so excited about our visit, they are rolling out the red carpet and will actually close Atwell’s Avenue, so our Alfas can be diagonally parked along this famous street!
The Federal Hill neighborhood is rich in Italian tradition and history. Wonderful restaurants, incredible coffee and pastry, and some very unique shops.
Not only has Travel and Leisure Magazine voted Providence “One of America’s Favorite Cities”, chef Mario Batali describes Federal Hill as “One of the Top Ten Little Italy’s in America”! Join us for a memorable evening of fun, food, music, and of course, Alfa Romeos!
The Concorso d’Eleganza will be conveniently held on the hotel grounds. Friday night’s Swap Meet will be located next to the car wash station giving us an opportunity to get our Alfas ready for Saturday’s primo event. Friday night’s Clambake, along with the bus tours and self guided tours will give everyone a wonderful taste of Rhode Island’s sea shore and New England hospitality!
For a complete line up of all the events, plus restaurants, historic sites and shopping, please visit our web site www.alfa2015.com

With Alfas arriving from all over the US and Canada, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow Alfista and enjoy summertime in the “Ocean State”!
