Sounds good!

Added the Alfaholics system to my Super last month.

Just from the "Y" connector back, but put in a straight-thru resonator.

Wanted the quiet of the original headers, plus a little more quiet.

Recently ran a three-day 1,000-mile tour.

How can I say it? But it sounds "bigger" and good.

Thanks for sharing the experience of a fine way of turning hydrocarbons into
noise:

You beat me to it, mate! But, then, you've incorporated a sinfully fun run in yours where I'd intended only a stationary throttle blip or two. The A/H exhaust system gets my vote for the best designed exhaust system you can buy for a 105 Alfa. I have the full system---headers to tailpipe. Unlike a lot of systems (no complaint, it's just the way they are) the classic GTA style headers fit perfectly, as did the rest of the system. Even better, the whole system's in stainless so here in Texas it will probably outlast the car.

But then there's that sound. I recently had my Super at the alignment shop. When I brought it back in for a final steering wheel adjustment, I overheard one of the mechanics say, "Did you hear that sound? Wow that car sounds good !". I agree.

tuneful open chested sound to the car....thanks for sharing...just small observation that "maybe" the tuning could be improved (too much spitting/air sounds for my liking) but i guess just my personal preference and everyone can choose how they like car to feel

Yes, it needs to be adjusted for sure. This is bolt on and go...needs tuning:)

In the restless pursuit and recording of knowledge, I'll add to this thread.

The trick is to have the exhaust not too loud or too quiet.

Perhaps mine is about right.

It does not set off car alarms.

The other day I took a long-time acquaintance for a ride in "Supah".

She said "Does it need a new muffler?".

Forgot that she was not a gearhead.

Anything quieter would not be right.
