That script (2-piece) is from a Series 2 Spider.

On my '84 I replaced the tall factory rear spoiler with a low-profile Zender spoiler. The 3 badges on the factory spoiler were lost, so I added the Series 2 Alfa badge on the traditional slope, similar to '30's Alfas.

That looks good. Tell me more about this zender spoiler. Did you have a 3rd brake light previously?

I've not seen that script on a Kammtail Spider. As far as I know, all of "them" came with a one piece and not a two piece. If someone could point me to pictures of a kammtail with this script, I would be most grateful. To me, it looks like a really crappy after market something or other.

The one-piece badge in Ossodiseppia's post looks great on the S2, but won't fit on the trailing edge of the Zender spoiler; it's also too large for either side of the black cove between the license plate & the S3 taillights.
My badge isn't plastic, it's polished chrome; I thought it was from a Series 2, but could be mistaken. I hope it doesn't get taken as crappy aftermarket.
Tarps3, the original soft spoiler did not have a 3rd brake light; '86 & later S3s have a hard plastic spoiler with an integrated 3rd brake light. I've added a 3rd brake light to my car and will post pictures tomorrow.

yes, but S4 plastic stick-on one looks different to that one shown in post #7.....notice the little connecting bar between "alfa" and "romeo".
metal/chromed one piece for the S2 would have pins

I doubt that...where are the pins for a start?
I'm with Osso (post #7) it looks aftermarket, casting not sharp enough (to my liking, at least)
@Tarps3...it is chromed metal or plastic?

its an aftermarket thing.
chromed plastic.
the PO had it stuck to the nose of my spider.
It doesn't have pins - it just double-stick tape.
looks to be a plastic aftermarket thing.
I've removed several other items of "decoration" by the PO.
He loved the "brand" apparently but not the mechanical upkeep.
logos everywhere....
I imagine he had the jacket, the t-shirt, the ball cap...etc.
