Hi.

I have a 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 Callaway Twin-Turbo I have just shipped with me to London from the US. I would like to find an Alfa specialist in the city who knows not only Alfas but the GTV6 as well.

Any thoughts from London or UK members would be lovely.

Cheers,

Richard.

Richard,

I would first try Alfarama in north London. If you care to venture a little further north of town, Jamie Porter also has good reports. I have a feeling that the UK club has a GTV/GTV6 Register, so they might be of further help. Good luck!

Hi Richard.

If you don't mind travelling a short way down to the Southampton area, I'd suggest Alex Jupe (Alex Jupe Motorsport :: Alfa Romeo GTV6 / 75 servicing, upgrades, track preparation & cars for sale).

He's a GTV6 specialist and is preparing my 3.0 24v '6 to a very high standard. There is very little, if anything, he doesn't know about these vehicles :D

On a separate note, may I ask if you've added your car to the Global GTV6 Register? If not, perhaps I could encourage you to do so? It exists only as a means to establish how many GTV6s are still in existence around the world.

The register can be found by following this link:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ao89ux0FZjFUdEw0MmZoRnFMSi1jRERUN2hSaWNJSFE&hl=en#gid=0

A GTV6 may be entered anonymously, though adding a unique identity makes it easier to find your '6 among the 141 already registered.

Hope you join the register - the more, the merrier :D
