Hope you are well.

2.5 V6 New .png 2.5 V6 New .png Since the start of the pandemic ,I've been looking for something to keep me busy.
I have found a decently priced donor vehicle ( 2002 2,5 V6 ) with no engine problems according the owner.
from the research I've done , there are a few that have been done and they look and sound awesome.

The car is not in the greatest condition but is rust free.

Thanks.

Yes I have heard of some Giulietta(116) 2,5L cars being built at the same period they were working on the the 3L GTV6. However when asking Alfa Romeo if they knew this car, they said yes, but it would never be produced in Milano because already they would market the 75 2,5L. So the Giulietta 2,5L was just a SA curiosity.

Great to hear that there were models with this configuration. Received the Giulietta two days ago ( had it towed ) It’s not in bad condition for its age and I’m not going to let the shabby body hinder any progress. It does need a set of wheels so I’ve been checking for some Alpina’s - not the easiest to find.
Can only collect the donor car at the end of the month as our lockdown was extended. It only requires a clutch so I will fit this , drive the car for a wand make sure that the engine is working as it should before installation.
Has anyone ever moved the fuel tank on a Giulietta to a different position ? The whole interior smells of petrol and I know the tank is leaking and will have to be removed.

Regards

Hi All

Can anyone assist with the current flow diagram for the 156 to and from the ECU.

I’m not too stressed about ECU to engine as I have removed this entire harness from the donor car. It’s the rest of it that I’m concerned about.

Hi All

engine arrived today thanks to the team at Joeys and McWik up for in Kdorp who really went out of their way.

it’s going to need to be stripped down as it has had overheat.

I will definitely post better pictures once I have access to everything and we are free to move around again.
