I drove this car a month ago, my first time ever in any Alfa. I knew going in that I didn’t know enough about Alfas to make a purchase that day and what I really needed to know was, will this car put a smile on my face. A friend who buys classic cars told me beforehand his test always is, does it put a smile on my face. Well, it did. Everything I’ve read about Alfa soul was evident in this car, and it was so well-sorted that I could just focus on the driving experience. I paid close attention to the handling and feel, which turned out to be just what I was looking for, but I wondered beforehand, why is such a big deal made about the sound of the engine. Now I know. It was truly an intoxicating sound, to the point of being distracting at moments, sorry for being sexist, but like a stunning woman walking by. Stefano completely welcomed my situation and said that if the car put a smile on my face then he’d done his job. Thanks again!

Unsolicited testimonial: I bought my Alfetta GT last year from Stefano and his dad, and they are wonderful folks, 100% honest and true Alfisti. The 164LS looks like a steal at that price and I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I didn't already have a nice 164S.

~SOLD~

Thank you all for the kind words. The car has been sold.
I saw a champagne 164LS driving down the Merritt Parkway earlier this evening! Was that yours? Really nice looking car.

Hey Bill, that was me driving after I picked up the LS from Stefano. You were scootin in your truck, lol!

Stefano and his Dad were very nice and true Alfa people. I hope we both get our 4Cs one day! That being said, the LS does have a bit of a hesitation/miss under load in mid-rpms (3-4k). I'm sure it's something I will sort with the help of the BB! Overall the car is very solid, glad to be back on Team Alfa.

Yeah, I have a little problem with that. I have to drive Boston-NYC-Boston every week for work, so I get frustrated with drivers in the left lane who are comfortable with 25 cars behind them and 1/2 mile of empty space in front. :D

Your new car is really nice. I'm sure the BB can help you get the hesitation sorted quickly. Enjoy!
