Hello,

I have recently purchased an Alfa Romeo 164 3.0 24V Super, however the siren was disconnected from the car and the plugs removed from either end of the wiring loom (As pictured below)

An you please advice which wires go together as they aren’t the same colour.

Some people cut all that stuff off because they can't shut off the siren, or have other problems with them. I never thought they were worth it in my 164s, and always turned them off completely.

Ok. Lol, I'm old fashioned and still just use the key on our cars.

Never found the 24V car remote effective at anything more than about 3-5 feet, in certain directions, so just gave up and used the key. The 12V 164 remote wasn't much better, and did the same. The Milano doesn't have a remote.

Remotes are not worth the effort, since they just take up more room in the pocket. The remote for the Chevy SS is even bigger, takes up more room on the pocket, and even it has a key which pops out at inopportune times in my pocket. Have to keep it taped closed. It's irritating that I must have that remote in my pocket in order to start the car. Would rather just use the key. Luckily, the SS has a little button on the door handle which can lock and unlock the doors.
