Bob--You are correct. I tried to set up a new forum, but with my very limited computer skills this was the best I could do for now. I could not find any instructions for "Setting up new forums for Dummies" I hope to get some help this wekend and set up a proper forum.--Harly
George--There is a 2013 AROC Convention Forum. --Harly
Tad--The $125 room block is basically sold out, however the DoubleTree does have rooms available at a higher rate. Also, check our website alfacalifornia.com for a listing of nearby hotels.
Look at the top of this page for the path to general discussions for Alfa California 2013.
WARNING--Online registration for Alfa California 2013 ends July 1. Don't miss out on one of the largest AROC conventions ever. While some of the events are sold out, there are still many opportunities to enjoy five days in the Sonoma Wine Country: driving on rallies and tours on Pacific Coast roads, bus tours to various points of interest, attending track events at Sonoma Raceway (Infineon), viewing the Concorso at the nearby golf course, or just mingling with other Alfisti at events at the DoubleTree Hotel. Check our website alfacalifornia2013.com for details.
The Napa Valley Driving Tour is sold out, however the Sonoma Wine Country Bus Tour still has openings. I think you would enjoy the Sonoma Wine Country Tour.
Yes, you do need to register to participate in the Alfa California Convention. For various reasons, many attendees do not bring their Alfas but you can still enjoy the fun with other Alfisti.
TGIF, July, 12 and Alfa California has been completed. Thanks to Steve Davis and the committee who have spent the last two years preparing for the convention. Also thanks to all of you that traveled to Sonoma Wine Country to enjoy this event. The DoubleTree provided a great venue for the events. As with all conventions, all was not perfect. Aside from the normal minor complaints, one of the models entered in the Art and Model Show was missing, Wednesday night parking became an issue due to another event in the hotel ball room, and who could of known the temperature would drop so low for the Fiesta and the Concorso Midnighto. All in all, the individual events were conducted properly and what is important is everybody had a good time. Now, on to Detriot.
