Hi everyone and greetings from Sydney, Australia.

Having brake problems. I am getting hardly any feel in the brake pedal. The brake master cylinder has been replaced and the brake booster reconditioned. The brake centre advised that I am only getting 14 mercury points from the plenum chamber, and it should be 20 mercury points. There is a valve that is attached to the chamber and a hose that goes to the brake booster, but the valve is okay. The brake centre thinks it could be valve timing, on the inlet valve. Could it be a vacuum leak? I am using a soft compound Bendix pads at the moment.

The 90 is currently is an approved Alfa dealer and they reckon the rear brakes are only working 10%. Any ideas out there? Appreciate any help, thanks. Anthony.

Anthony, it might be a good idea to repost this thread in the 75/milano area as there will be a more thorough, international readership there.

Good luck.
