As far as I know, the concencus is for the Squadra Tuning chip from Holland. I have one, and it *may* have made some difference.

Try Beninca motors in Melb. I spoke to them the other day about options for sqeezing more power out of the TS. I cant remember the guys name, but he was certainly leaning towards the twin spark turbo option. Reckoned it would be better than the 75 1.8 factory turbo setup.

All comes down to how much you want to spend I spose ;)
I'm with TS Dude,
Give Beninca Motors a call, they got over 30 years experience with Alfa's and know a lot about the twin sparks.

Speak with Peter or Joe, they'll point you in the right direction.
In the end it's like TS Dude said it all comes down to your budget and what you intend to do with the car. :D

It'd be difficult to make a worse turbo install then hte factory 75 1.8T. If you know a hammer from a screwdriver that is.
Beninca made their own TS head, and then turbocharged it. Was in one of the Aussie mags a long while ago. It was before Alfa came out with the 2.0 TS in the 75.

Is that right? Does the 1.8 have a bad rep?

Wow! Beninca must know their sh*t.

A bad rep?

The installation is very much a cheap add-on to the existing lineup, not very well engineered at all. But I guess that how it was back in those days.

Hey Dude, You might also want to try Pur Sang (Pure Blood) Motors in East Melb i think it was, if you have a copy of "Cross and Serpent" AROCA Members mag.
He's done some gr8 work. The last thing i read was he supercharged a gtv6 with a 3.0 12 valver from a 75. They made 400+HP with that setup.
The guy that owns that GTV6 Supercharged with 400hp has had to go back and redo things as they were not done properly in the first place. In other words hes had to spend more money than he has had to.

Don't get me wrong its an awesome car, bloody quick to and is used as a daily driver, but some of the places he has taken the car have stooged him around.
