Hi all, I've bought a 1987 Alfa33 off my brother, he was intending on racing it so fitted some H&R lowering springs to the back with shortened shocks.
I'm finding them inconvenient for road use. So would anyone be intersted in buying them or swapping me some good condition rear shocks for the setup -(shocks and springs)? :D
This is my first post so I may aswell introduce myself.
My name is Adam, I'm 17 and obviously have a 33, it's a 1.7 QV Cloverleaf and has been fitted with twin 40 dellortos, a 1.3 sud gearbox and a few other things.
I hope someone could help me out. Cheers Adam

You realize Adam that the twin downdraft carbs are standard.

Hi, yep I know that, but aren't they 36's as standard?

Not for the 1.7 but doesn't,t matter anyway as the venturi size and jetting is the crux-you can put the same settings in 36's.

Thanks for the info, on a different note were you the guy who sold a Sud door to my brother a year or two back, I remeber a (60's/70's) GTV in your garage that was being restored? Also do you know if Sud springs would be suitable for the 33 with standard length 33 shocks? Cheers
