Alfa 164S 1991 4 SALE to the highest bidder!!

I am a student in South California and bought an Alfa because I needed a car for a couple of months and wanted to try it out. Everything worked excellent until two weeks ago when my cluth started failing, it ran out of fluid and the pedal was to the floor.
I took it to a mechanic who said it as the clutch master pump and ordered a new one online and replaced but he hasn't been able to bleed it and get it working again..
Now I'm moving out of state, so I'm willing to sell it as is to the highest bidder. It has 139,000 miles and all the electronics work. The car is located in Redondo Beach, Ca. and you would need to pick it up.
I've attached some pics.
Let me know if anyone is interested on here before I post on ebay.

Thanks!

Thank you.
I may be interested in it as well. Do you have any additional pics of the engine and interior? Who did you take it to?

At his time I only have those pics on my computer, the engine is in great condition and the interior is leather with some wear on the driver's seat, everything else is fine. The only thing wrong is the clutch which is described in the previous posting. I took it to a mechanic which a classmate recomended but he doesn't have experience with Alfas and that's the problem.
What's your email or phone number? I would love to talk to you more about this. What color is the interior?

Andy
Is it currently registered? The plates say May 2007.

Maybe.
Where in Redondo are you located, I grew up there and know the area well.
I can have a few people come and check it out. Let me know whats the scoop.
If you can send me pictures as I cannot open the file I would appreciate it.
Looking for a new project car.
Glen, may take you up on the offer if not out of the way. It is a 1 hour 45 minute drive though.
Let me know?
And honestly, whats wrong with the car besides the clutch issue? Who did th work on it? Was the work done by Someone local or Uwe in Culver City?
I just want to know what I am in for if I take it off your hands?
BTW where are you a student at? Only school around there is Marymount, El Camino or Dominguez Hills! or do you commute?
Ciao!

The car is located in Pearl and PCH, it's parked on the street. I'm an international student who was attending Pepperdine University and lived in Santa Monica for a trimester. Everything worked fine until that clutch problem and since I was new to Alfas and didn't know where to go I ended up with a mechanic that a classmate recomended but now I see it was a bad decision becasue I've learned Alfas can be challenging when it comes to repairs and he doesn;t have the experience.

Ah Pepperdine, how could I have forgot that one.

Please e-mail me some information. What exactly has this mechanic done besides the clutch?

I sent you a pm with my phone number did you get it?
Jason, you need to get it before Lenard does! We need a win for the AZ guys.. :)
Here are the pics for emantil's Alfa, which I converted to PDF and then to .jpg. As I une a mac I'm not too familiar with Word.

I looked at the car last weekend, but I just bought a GTV6 in Oakland, was in LA for a week and now driving back to Oregon. Wish I had the time to buy this car!

Best wishes, Erick!

Brian

Just sent you a PM, if you haven't gotten it already.
Has this car always been in California? Are there any service records? Any manuals? Any rust or dents? Is glass OK? How long did you drive it before the clutch failed? Do you have the old parts that were removed recently during the attempted clutch repair?
