Looking for a new air filter and just curious what folks are using in a stock setup. I found this handy chart listing all of the brands that fit - A382,TECNOCAR A382; Air Filter

I doubt I go K&N. I read they let it more dirt than the paper filter, and also get jammed with crud unless you clean them regularly. Here in dusty Texas, that sounds like a dealbreaker. I used one in my old SCCA Integra, but that thing got overhauled after every session.

Tecnocar filters are not exactly easy to find around here...

I don't think there's much of a difference between the paper ones. I usually just get them from IAP or Centerline...I think they sell Tecnocar ones.

It looks like RockAuto has Mahle brand for $17 if you want another option.

I was looking at those and wondering about quality. I got some cheap(er), off-brand fuel filters from RA that seem to be fine, a couple of years in.

Mahle is a well known brand: I think they make a lot of OEM filters for VW/Audi.
