Does anyone have a dimensioned sketch of the straps that hold the air filter cannister to the bracket in a 101 veloce spider?
I would like to make a set but have nothing to copy.
Thanks

And does anyone have the dimensions and/or pattern of the bracket that is attached to the engine bay side wall?
(Apols for jumping in on the thread)

****,
I think I have a spare bracket for the cannister.
Where are you? I'm in Sydney.

Hi Peter,
Yesterday I checked out a '64 Giulia Spider Veloce that seemed to be reasonably unmolested.
Here are the details of the strap.

Useful research, ****. Hope the restoration is progressing nicely.
Sills, cross stiffeners and floors now in. Starting on inner wheel arches, then boot in two months time.
And how's your resto going?
Cheers and keep safe, **** (aka ****. I have no idea how that happened!)

Totally stalled, ****. Didn't touch it during the (First?) Year of Covid (aka 2020). Neighbour's cat has taken up residence inside the shell. Hoping to restart this year and have recently bought a heap of old oxy welding gear (including a Henrob torch) in anticipation - got sick of regrinding Tig tips every seven seconds. Great to hear that you've achieved so much.
Cheers, Geoff
