Does anyone know about AC that could be installed in the back seat or trunk of GTV 105 that does not require all of the traditional plumbing on the motor such as the condenser etc.

Please help!

Well, if you lived in the desert, I suppose you could use a "swamp" cooler. Just a moisture evaporator, but they can work up to a point. They don't work in sweaty high humidity areas, of course.

Or, you could buy a small window a/c unit, put it in the trunk, and tow a generator to provide the 110v it needs, lol.

I don't know what sailboats use, but I've seem pictures of sailboats in the Caribbean with them mounted on the deck. Are they 12v, run by an alternator on their small engines?

Cooling

Similar to a heater system in an elec car. Hum...

Boats have 110 volt generators to run such systems. However I have a AC system that has a compressor that runs off of the port engine that cools the boat when the main engines are running.
The Marineair requires 110 volts.

Vintage Aire builds a unit for mounting in the trunk.

Thanks Richard...but the vintage air unit still requires a condenser to run off the motor-belt driven....yes?
