Hi guy's,
Just sold my beloved '95 164LS...(http://www.cannillomotorsports.com/inventory/164lsg/164lsg.htm). And now I just bought a '91 Spider. :D Which is what I always wanted anyway, picking up next Sat. My question is, Is there an after market exhaust system beside the expensive Stebro system? They go for $1,400 :(...
Any suggestions would be great!!! Besides Ansa.

Gennaro,

Centerline (and maybe others) sells a "Stinger" that replaces the real muffler with a straight pipe. About $70.00. I have one on my '91 and like it. A soft vroom unless you get on the throttle hard, then more noise but not at all objectional. Do a BB search. There's lots of conversation on the topic.

Stainless exhaust systems show up on eBay every once in awhile. The price seems right. Also Centerline & IAP sell complete stainless systems for a lot less than $1400. A system made from carbon steel is much less. To get rid of the rear muffler, have an exhaust shop weld in a straight with a chrome tip. Should cost about $20 - $30.
