Hi there, I have recently pulled the engine on my junior, due to low compression from bent valves . Being from the school of pull it to pieces and remember how it all went back together. I pulled the head and got new valve guides and valves, seals, skimmed head and lapped in valves. Then I thought I would go the whole way and regring the crank and new big end bearings. The problem is I numbered all the caps with corresponding rods, but I didn't mark which way round the caps were before dismantling. Is this going to be a problem on reassembly? as I have heard it can make the crank really tight and is there a way around it? Sorry If this sounds dumb but am pretty new to the art of engine rebuilding, and just thought all would be pretty straightforward. Thanks for your advice.
