Pending any new COVID protocols, spectators are welcome to the Charity Challenge races at Sonoma Raceway. There nine Race Groups, including the Morton Cup for under 2.5 Trans-Am cars & there will be the midday charity rides where you can make a donation ($75-$500, depending upon the car) to the Sonoma Chapter of the Speedway Children's Charities & get a three lap hot ride in a race car of your choice amongst the 30 or so drivers/cars who have volunteered to give rides. Signups are in the paddock, at the track, on both Saturday & Sunday. You must be 18, or older & in good health. Pants & a long sleeve shirt are required & no sandals. CSRG provide's the helmet.
