Adding a lower clutch bushing grease fitting?

Has anyone ever attempted to drill and tap a strategically placed hole in the lower part of the bellhousing to add a grease fitting that would allow one to grease the lower clutch pivot arm bushing? If you knew where to drill or had it out I think this would be easy enough. You can kind of grease the top one externally but the lower one is not possible without removal of the tranny, otherwise. Does this sound like a dumb idea, or a good idea?
