AC condensing water on fuse box!!!!

598 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  Joe Papa Sr
First I heard POP, then the instrument cluster lights went out, checked fuse, and it was blown. Checked around, and found water on driv floor pan(carpet), then looked up, and found the water droplets condensed on the duct work right above fuse box. Drops must have fallen, and shorted that circuit. Man, never heard of that!

Got R12. Anyone ever seen this before? All I could do was place some rags under that duct area, and hope it absorbs droplets . Hope it doesnt impede air flow and overheat fuse box??? Should this be a concern?? Thanks.
