So long story short. I have an 87 Milano. Today wasp spray got sprayed. It got in my car. I washed it off, clay bared and it left a bunch of whitish spots all over the car. Here's my question. I have armor shield ceramic coating on top of the car. Do you guys think the paint will be fine? I'm not sure how to tell. Here's a picture.

Years ago similar damage was done to GM magic mirror acrylic on one of my cars when someone sprayed benzine on it. That type paint no longer exists, but the damage looked the same. I eventually went over the whole car with a fine glazing compound, but under magnification, the paint surface was actually damaged, and I needed to strip and repaint the car.
I would hope the damage to yours is only in the ceramic coating, the only way to really know will be to use a fine polish glaze or whatever is used to get the coating off, to see if only it, or the paint below is damaged.

You may want to try some Meguiars M101 and a firm foam pad. Don't use too much product and run high speed on the DA. I bet it'll be okay. Doesn't look like it etched the paint. If you want a killer shine, hit your car with M205 after the M101. If there's a little damage, the M101 will cut it clean and the M205 will put a great shine on the finish. Oh, make sure the paint is clean before polishing (clay, iron remover, etc).

Also, after polishing, use Turtle Wax Hybrid in the green/black bottle for SIO2 wax. The stuff is amazing. Do a second coat a week later and you won't have to do anything for a year +.

Just ran trough the same process. +1 on Meguiars. Ran trough this 3-step with an eccentric polish machine. Starting low revs then turning it up each step.
The products you used are very safe. They're the consumer end of Meguiars - easy to use and you have to really try hard to damage anything. DA polisher is highly recommended, because using a regular polisher with an aggressive pad will burn the paint. With a regular polisher, you have to keep the tool moving and you have to be careful on sharp creases. With a DA, you can still burn the paint, but it's much, much harder. Also, a DA will stop spinning if you're on a sharp crease or if you push too hard.

Remember, the spinning of the pad is what does the work. Some people push too hard (you don't need to) or they treat a DA like a regular polisher and focus on an area vs doing passes.

I prefer the professional line from Meguiars - the M101 for faster cutting and M205 for medium cutting. A glaze after makes the paint look soooo good, but as we all know, a glaze doesn't last very long. So I use a good wax instead of a glaze ... well, at least 99% of the time. Once in a while, I want that deep shine of a glaze and will not use a sealant.
