I want to extend my sincere thanks, appreciation and respect to those of you on this board. Unlike the majority of folks, I am still relatively new to the Alfa society and have learned a tremendous amount from you all.:D

I have found most of you who post advice, charts, diagrams etc... are truly capable, intelligent and warm people and I recognize how much some of you go out of your way to help perfect strangers.

It is nice to know we share a common passion for something and can, for the most part, enjoy each others interactions. I feel fortunate to be able to be part of this group and wanted to take a moment to acknowledge you all.

Dittos.

The brain-trust on this bb has saved my bacon too many times to count.

I have to add my name to the list as well. If it wasn't for this BB and it's members, this carb and Spica guy would have soon forgotten everything he ever learned about L-Jet.

I agree! We have a wonderful group here.

With the help I get from the Board, my Italian Sports Car is just mysterious enough to be enjoyable. Also, I have gained a much deeper appreciation of the Marque.

Add me to the list!

When I bought my '87, I spent a few nights reading way, way back into the threads, just soaking up info. Great introduction to the car, getting me ready for what to expect, what to look out for, what to modify first, etc.

Thanks to all!

ditto me...

the Alfa folks are the best! There is so much ego, greed, and attitude with the other italian makes....F-cars, Lambo's, etc., but Alfa folks are down to earth and willing to help and are just plain COOL

By your words, I'm going to guess that you have not been reading the 135mph Spider thread;)

Don't Look!

It's like porn or a car wreck. You know you shouldn't look, but you do anyway. And regret it.
I second, or third or whatever all the positive comments about this Board. Many folks have given freely of their time and expertise to help me toward (or away from) purchases. Now that I finally have my spider, I really appreciate the incredible wealth of information and truly fine people here.

Ciao all
I keep mentioning the worth of a great Alfa mechanic but this site has been just as valuable. Most recently I had a gasoline smell in the car and bb member ghnl had some advice that solved the problem. Thank you
P.S. I didn't participate in the 135.

holy Shi$%$

It's a freakin' holiday weekend and I am only on page 8 of the 37 page!! '135mph thread'.....I get the gist of it, and when I am really bored I will continue to read it, but I would much rather get in my Alfa and drive:D

I still appreciate the Alfisti - and think that thread should just stay open for people to go on there and vent and get it all out!

The people I have "met" on this BB have been knowlegeable, generous, helpful and passionate about their Alfas. The are selfless in sharing their experience and there are no secrets. Not only that but they share a general urgency if you are in need or a crisis.
Many even open their phones to give you that added personal contact. I have been privileged to meet some of the people I encountered on this BB.

This site is truly one where the member contribute to their ability and collect on the basis of their needs.

Just to mention a couple, I take my hat off to Philc, Enrique Z and Papajam, and all the rest I did not mention.

Best regards Elio
