i hsve no problems with my motor, at this point.. new head done 2 years ago.. re-tq'ed it as book per say.. but hot re tq? i though metal expanded when hot.. to hot re-tq it.. as the motor cooled to cold.. would not the tq values go astray? i re tq'ed minn cold..

I figure the engine is 'hot' (at operating temperature) when being used and thus under the most stress. Therefore torquing the head when hot makes sure it is evenly & securely clamped down when it is most important that it be right.
