I started driving before sychros. So double clutch works . Have a GT now, but two sedans and a Milano. It's easy 1rest 2 second just hesitate be tween gears! Your 2nd synchro will love you! With all those trans axels,I just got used to the 1st to 2nd hesitation! Becomes automatic after while! All of my 2nd gear synchros survived even with track time!!
LOL i know all about the "lazy" shifting, been doin it for many many years, would be fun to be able to bang thru the gears a lil faster
honestly shifting an alfa transaxle is not too far off from shifting my 58 ford custom 300 with its 312 police interceptor and 3 on the tree with OD, i tell ya what tho...the electronic overdrive in it is WILD..no syncros yet stomp it to the floor and it will downshift for you, let off the gas and it goes into freewheel
How do I know if the limited-slip differential in my car is working properly ?
I placed the car on an elevator and move (manually) the wheels. If I move the left hand wheel to the front direction, the right hand should move in the same direction or not ??
Thanks in advance

Yesterday I was talking with a friend about gear oils, I was telling him about the Redline oil I use in the Alfa transmission.
He said he used to use Redline in his manual Miata's but someone got him to try this Ford oil and he said it made his cars smoother than ever. I said to him I know very...
Used to be a member of this forum way back when I was at university (2011!) when I had a 156 V6. Now, I've finally got back into Alfa world with this 75 :)
It's a little ways off the project starting, but I've been doing some research into various improvements that I can make as it...
