I was having trouble seeing my turn signal indicator in bright sunlight. I have a steering wheel that looks like the silver MOMO Prototipo. It causes glare when I look at the indicator at the bottom of the tach.

I replaced my mechanical turn signal flasher with an electronic one and it's hard to hear most of the time, e.g., when the engine is running.

The OEM lamp - a 74 Miniature Indicator Lamp – 14 Volt – T1-3/4 Sub Mini Wedge Base - was dim.

I found a 74 LED lamp that has a SMT LED at the end. It isn't too bright at night and I can see it in bright sunlight. I had to file the sides of the plastic tube where it fits in the socket. It was $5.50 USD on eBay.
