93 164S great condition

hi i am in staten island new york. i am a long time alfa owner and enthusiast. i recently purchased a 93 164S in white with the intention of restoring. i made a huge start in the project but now am not sure if i want to continue.(a swimming pool 4 the family has become more appealing). any way the car has 173000 miles on it.the story is it came from florida. it has no rust. it was sold to me by the alfa mechanic on merrick rd in long island.the appealing feature was that he rebuilt the engine completely @ about 130000 miles.its true i drove this car about 3000 miles and the engine is great power , no smoke or smell very little oil use. so heres what the 1st part of my project included.(done by giuseppe lore @ alfa import center) timing belt, water pump,a-c compressor,2 belts, any needed tensioners, power steering pump, rack any needed tie rods or ball joints,2 control arms, lower strut bearings, oem springs all around and get this 4 brand new S shocks from alfissimo intl. yes the original S suspension working 100%.also 4 brand new V rated tires, modified fan switch 185 degrees, blower motor, heater core, u will need some interior work and minor bodywork paints good.oh yeah also starter motor done. everything works electrically.RUNS GREAT CALL ME 646-879-5064 all reasonable offers considered thanx John

If you don't publish an asking price for the car, I think you will find that most people will not give the advert a second look. From what I've seen over the past few years, even really nice S's with no body or big interior issues are going for 4-5K. And white is not an easy-sell color. Economically, 164s are not good restoration candidates. Good luck, however.

Pictures and a 17-digit VIN along with asking price would be nice.

ok have given it some thought as well as spoken to some possible buyers. pictures will come soon as i get a chance and it stops raining. i will regret this.i wanted to complete this project. i love driving this car. it runs great, but the pool project is underway and my kids will enjoy that more than i will enjoy driving my alfa.me owning this car is dangerous.i love it so much i will just keep spending money(as u can see from the first project).i will not hesitate to sell for $6500 but something close might get it done.

VIN ZAREA33E2P6270114

THANKS JOHN 646 879 5064
