My daughter did a number on my AT gear shift lever. It had been getting harder to engage the gear. She forced it and something broke. It looks like the metal rod was tag welded into the metal circle. But not sure.
Does anyone have any exploded pics of what this is supposed to look like. The workshop schematics don't help much.
