This 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is finished in silver over saddle leather and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Features include air conditioning, power windows, a black cloth convertible top, and 15″ phone-dial wheels including full spare. The car was acquired by the seller from an officer of the Atlanta Alfa Romeo Owners Club and has been used as a daily driver by seller’s wife (except on rainy days)!
The exterior is finished in silver with a black convertible top. Exterior features include body-color bumper covers, side trim, and mirror caps. There is paint damage on the right front fender. Overall condition of body and paint is consistent with the age and shape of the vehicle. There are no structural rust issues. There are a few minor rust spots which appear on the body.
Silver 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/60 tires that were installed in November 2019; a full replacement spare tire is located beneath the trunk floor. The car features four-wheel disc brakes.
Saddle-colored leather seats match the trim on the center console and lower dashboard. Features include power windows, air conditioning, clock and black carpet covered by black rubber mats. The power window relays were replaced under current ownership. There is a slight crack on the top of the dashboard; a black Dash Mat spec’ed for this vehicle covers the top of the dashboard.
The radio was removed by current owner and replaced with a small stowage in the dashboard. Prior to removal the radio worked as did the antenna. Door speakers were also removed.
Power adjustment of outside mirrors does not function and must be done manually.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. Nighttime illumination of gauges is non-functioning currently.
The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four was rated at 120 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque when new. No mechanical issues have been noted and there are no signs of any fluid leakages.
