I offerred my 164 for sale two years ago for $7500, had some nice comments and a few nibbles, accepted a deposit, and then waited on a flakey "buyer". I gave up in disgust.... Since then I've kept my 164 in a warm covered storage, and driven it only for sunny day R&Rs and one car show. I'd love to find an Alfa lover who will appreciate it and use it more than I have. I will sell it to just such a person for $5,000 cash, no quibbling or lowballs. I do not wish to use Ebay or Craigslist... there seems to be just too many scams "out there" . . . (BTW to the putz annoying other Alfa FS posters with you comments about a $1400 Alfa on THEIR posts - please keep it to yourself. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.)

Here's an updated listing:

Exquisite Quality 1991 Alfa 164 with very low mileage.
67,000 + original, well maintained miles.
5 Speed (Very smoothe, tight, no issues)
Always garaged (NO rust, dents, dings, scratches...)
Full Featured Luxury Options

As close to perfect as you will find!
Immaculate, high gloss white exterior.
Beautiful, flawless buckskin leather interior, clean - well protected carpets. Excellent glass, dash, interior panels, etc.
Never smoked in, neglected, or mistreated.

Mechanically excellent. New timing and serpentine belts, motor mounts, front brakes, service, and full systems checkout by an Alfa specialist technician and friend of mine in the last 500 miles (approx. $1,000 service w/receipt). Spotless engine compartment - show quality.

This car looks and drives wonderfully - like the Italian dream machine that it is. I bought this car from a fellow Porsche Club (PCA) member, who owned it for years and kept it in excellent, garaged, and protected condition for special drives only. When he was downsizing, I couldn't pass up such a beautiful, well cared for car. I have babied it, kept it in my garage and well maintained, and driven it on special occasions only.

I purchased new (stock) fog lights for it, as someone stole the originals (wow...). I also have the full AR Factory Service Manual Set !!! (NOT cheap). I have collected several nice spare parts through the years for inventory that will go with this car.

If you know and love Alfas, you will especially appreciate this beautiful, rare low mileage luxury sports sedan.

Nice photos at:

I'm very partial to it because it looks like mine did 10 years ago. :D
