Need help with finding literature or a diagram of how to reinstall the electric window motor and cable assembly for a 1983 alpha Romeo spider Veloce thank you in advance

(you have an Alfa, not an alpha - to many the latter is akin to fingernails on a chalk board...)

There are two rather tricky things involved in getting the cable back in place. 1) keeping it wrapped around the drive drum while B) getting it positioned around all the pulleys. To help keep the cable wrapped on the drive drum, I use a section of PVC pipe. Cut a short length into a 'C' shape. Put that over the drum to keep the cable in place while you fiddle with getting it on all the pulleys. Once you get that done (you may need to learn some Italian curse words...) push off the piece of PVC pipe and fish it out of the bottom of the door.
