Hoping that the 1980 manual I bought on feeBay will be close enough.
But delivery is not until Wednesday even though it's only coming four hundred miles.

I have the Spider almost ready for a shake-down run but found a couple of loose vacuum lines.
One is from the flat round actuator in the snout of the air cleaner.
Where does the other end go?

The other seems to originate under the air filter somewhere and goes somewhere else near the front end of the Spica manifold?

Difficult to even look around the area, cramped and awkward.

Before taking anything off for access I would like to know what I am trying to reach.
I do not see any port for vacuum at the distributor.

Sorry but the 1980 manual won't help you...different set up

There should be a tan-ish switch on the inner fender by the snorkel which is "suppose" to work the secondary points.....one of those lines it to be attached there. (Can't find pic)

One of the things I despise about "Smog" systems is that they changed EVERY year.

Hopefully the rest of the manual will be essentially the same.
Glad I only paid $20.00 for it.
