Yes, they have become few and far between thanks to that Soviet sourced steel they are made out of.
Most have rotted away.
Some arrived in the US already rusting thanks to the salt exposure from sitting at the docks in Genoa waiting for dealer orders and then on the trip across the Atlantic.
Rare: Yes. Appreciate in Value: No.
I had a California '78 GTV for 15 years.
I bought it for $3000 did a lot of work to it and sold it for $4,000 15 years later.
Not much ROI but it drew some interest at C&C events and when I drove it to Sebring.

The Alfetta is Rare and as you said, the Soviet Metal used was garbage and rusted so easily.
These coupes are GREAT cars otherwise. I am sure its values WILL go up before we die.
