During my minor modifications: Borgo 10.4 piston, 45/41 oversized valve, Shankle level 4 Cam, Weber 40 DCOE rejet, Exhaust header. My mechanic suggested to replace intake cam with the 75's that he quoted has higher lift. That made me unslept since none in my group ever do that.
Please suggest !!!!
Or I should consider the mail order "International-auto parts" ??
Thanks,

75 carb have same as 10548 cams(old 1.8 2.0 euro carb nords) and 75 motronic engine have bigger intake cam 300 degrees 11mm lift BUT if you want to use 75 cams on older motor you must cut folower bores to alow lobe rotation, 75 cams are 30mm base circle diameter , older nord cams are 27 or 27,5mm so with 75 cams you will need motronic intake vlaves they are 1mm shorter !... with 41mm exhaust valve do not use bigger than 10548 cam or you will loose lot of low-mid rpm torque :)
