75 Turbo starting problems

Hi

I have a 75 Turbo, which I´m restoring.
When I bought the car I had a similar problem, the car didn´t want to start, and the problem was dirty injectors.
They were professionaly cleanned and the car started almost immediately.
But last sunday, when I was leaving home for a road test, it runned 50 meters and it shut down... :(
I chequed everything and the problem is that there isn´t spark on the plugs.
I removed the Intercooler and checked every connection. At one time it wanted to start and I can tell that there was spark because I had a plug conected to a HT cable and I saw the spark.
So I thought that it was solved and put the intercooler back on his place, doing all electric connections.
I tried to start it and there was te same problem again, NO SPARK... :(
I checked everything again, but I couldn´t find the problem... :(
What can I do?
What do you recomend to check?
What is necessary to have spark on the plugs?

Hello Carlos. I had similar problem when I bought my 75 Turbo America. The problem was in a bad contact in the black connector in the distributor body. When the connection is no good, there isn´t spark. Please, check it.

Thank you.
It was probably a bad connection on that connector.
When I arrived home I moved the connector a bit and it starter immediately
The connector was on the right place and position...
I have to buy some contact clenner and check everything on the car.

PS: Do you also have a Delta Integrale?
Hello Carlos. The problem in this connector is the movement of the car. When the engine starts, the connector goes out with the vibration. Then, the bad contact appears, and there isn´t spark. If you fix the conector to the distributor´s body, the problem disappears.

In this moment I have only Alfas (and a rare Talbot Horizon rally car also), but my next car I hope will be a Lancia Delta HF Integrale!!!

Carlos, are you from Portugal?

Greetings.

Julian
