R32 GTR :) He had a lil more squirt down the main straight but I could gain on him in the corners and sometimes under brakes oddly enough :S

Beating a few fast cars these days, only getting faster :D

I have to say, it was incredibly impressive to watch a 75 chasing down, keeping up and overtaking a modified GTR on the track. I'm so glad it was the last session so I got to watch it all.

That and the Alfa sounds so much better than the RB26 :D

I'll let Mez answer the specs question..

you know it. original and best Godzilla.

That sound is making me want one of those quad cam numbers :) (had to watch again haha)
Well, Bernard's 75 is putting out bhp numbers close to a stock R32. In fact, assuming the R32 in the video was slightly modified, Bernard's 75 shouldn't have a problem with a bone stock R33 since it should weigh a little more than an R32.

**** dude, I like your specs all around. How is the ride with the large torsion bars? Are you really using a stock front sway bar?

yes that was my point originally! its why the 32 gtr is more desired for spec. A stock 32 GTR is 206kw at the fly, if modified Bernard is doing very nicely considering the torque differences.

Bernard next time you go out, some in car footage would be great!

I second that Bernard. A camera mount is like $50, well worth it to show off what all that hard work does for lap times!

Z,

You mean the modification on the watt's linkage? I think they lower the pivot point on the watts, which makes the RC lower. That should make the car roll more in the back I think. Also, I think at the ride height you're running right now, you should be OK w/o it, no? Modified Dedion is up next once I'm satisfied with being able to turn-in easily enough. Never ending battle really, as once I do the rear, I'm likely to be understeering again - at much greater velocities of course =)

Yes I am still using a stock front sway and I'm not going to change it anytime soon :)

Having a bigger rear sway and standard front sway helps offset the weight of the V6 motors and makes the car turn nicer. I was speaking with Ron about this aswell and his findings are also similar.

And yes the rear roll center mod is lowering the pivot point of the watts, and the front uprights raise the roll center.

The ride with the larger torsion bars is excellent, I used to run my Koni's on full strength which made it harsh but back a knotch as per Benincas recommendations (and my konis were badly damaged from it) make it very very nice for how stiff it is, even on the ****ty roads where I live.

I used to run an in-car camera but the vibrations killed it, I don't want to try it with my new camera but I may start using the helmet cam again as it doesnt get the vibration effect :)

Btw the car puts down 171rwkw, or 230rwhp. And yes it sounds great :D
