Does anyone have or know where I can get the little black looks like Bakelite bracket that secures the hood prop in place along the inner left fender line when the hood (bonnet) is closed? I understand that Alfa no longer carries that part in old stock.

Also wondering about the driver's side door jamb -- on the body, not the door -- where that little spring-loaded pointy metal piece acts to keep the door in full shut position. Mine is rounded off and needs a new one or take it apart and file it sharp again. Any ideas?

TIA,

Todd

The hood bracket is the same on 1750 and 2000 GTVs, as well as Berlinas. I'd call APE or otherwise check junkyard cars. They break easily though.

Thanks, Andrew. I called Larry at APE and he had everything I needed - hood prop bracket, door jamb thing, and the 'wing bolt' that holds the jack in place in the trunk. Actually, mine's the wignut cuz my jack attachment place has a stud. Now, it's vacuum leak locating time. Webers have an erratic idle...

Thanks again.
