Looking for an exhaust heat shield, pn 105.48.51.070.00 from 1750. or correct pn for 2000 GTV would work, found under mid body on 74 GTV's, must be solid, (mine is taking on the form of swiss cheese) to complete my restoration on my 74. Rust free preferred, fair price paid for the right part. Thanks
I just bought one of these for my '69 Spider but it did not fit. When I emailed Classic Alfa I was told that this is fits an S4 Spider but I should be able to modify it to fit... I'm not sure how. I am returning it. It may be that other cars and particularly hanging pedal cars are a closer fit.
Below is their heat shield over my original.
I am very happy with Classic Alfa but I find that their descriptions can be less than precise.
I think I found a way to rust-proof them. Apply a ceramic coating.
I use Swaintech's white lightning. The Heat shields still look good after 15 years and 32K miles driven in all weather conditions.
