I have lived in Berkeley more than 30 years and don't believe I've ever seen this car.
Price does not seem crazy by today's standards, but seeing in person is way more important than any words the seller uses.

I bought the GTV in question here. It's my first Alfa. I'll probably start a thread on it at some point but the short history is this...

Previous owner for about 20 years was a Mr. Tom Lee, but had recently been sold to Ed Adams. It had a solid set of records with many repairs at Roger's Garage and other garages going back to the 70's. Chris isn't at Roger's Garage any more, but I asked him to do a PPI. He was excited to see it and knew the car well. A lot of the records were his writing from the 90's. It's quite good mechanically, and the body is rust free everywhere I've looked and I was rolling all around the underside.

So excited for Alfa ownership. Look for me driving around Oakland!

Oh, Ed Adams, "automobilist." He's an old friend, he and I crewed for Conrad on the Carrera SS last year.
Looking forward to hearing more about this car.
