have been searching for a listing of the general torque values for this car. so far no luck. Manuals i have show some values but not a lot of them. Is there a printed list somewhere? or do you all just use a standard based on bolt size and thread pitch?

Thanks

The Centerline sheet show 1600 wheel nuts at 65 ft/lbs. The factory manual show nuts that secure wheels at 43.4 to 57.8 ft/lbs. Does it matter?

The difference is between brass and steel fasteners. Yes, I think it matters. The brass lug nuts on the Sprint get 50 ft-lbs and the steel nuts on the Spiders get 65-70.

thanks on the Centerline info. i had seen that. should have mentioned it. i was looking for something more substantial.

i also found a current torque value sheets based on bolt size and pitch. guess i can use that when in doubt.
