I purchased this car from Sicily last Spring. The 2.0 Engine is under way with most of the machine work complete. The head, crank, manifold, block and rods were all ported or balanced. Motronic pistons and Euro Spec cams from Centerline. I’ll probably run Alfaholics sport exhaust and lower the car an inch to inch and half. The body will be dual headlights but mostly stock; the interior too, expect for some real Spiney Beck leather weave over custom flying buttress seats. I’ll posts every so often as the project goes along. The car care through the port of Miami. First pic was car being loaded then shipped to Chicago area. Then how it really looks after Dismantling the entire car.

More pics. I’ll need new front floors and spare tire tray.

Here is the current state of affairs. Hopefully the body works starts soon. I am behind a few cars including a 76 911 Turbo.

The bodywork has been stalled, but the shop is starting to prep and start my metal work. Crossing fingers.

Looks like the shell was dipped. You will need to cut open the chassis rails where the steering box and idler mounts and replace the aluminum spacer that will have desolved. Can replace with steel tubes welded in a triangle

Looking good

Btw if you don't check the steering box and idler mounts after dipping your car will be dangerous.

Ok Pete. I will pass to the restoration shop. Appreciate it.
Strange how these cars look so good as just a shell ... I guess I'm seeing things many other don't ...
