I am putting my 69 spider up for sale. 2 cars are too much for me given all of my other projects. I will concentrate Alfa efforts on my GTV.
Briefly, the spider is in excellent condition. I purchased 4 years ago in partially restored condition from an old Alfa guru Paul Tenney.
I finished the restoration and the car is now complete and on the road.
The car looks and drives great. Here's a rundown of work done:
- drivetrain completely rebuilt to a high standard
- webers with euro manifold replaced spica
- euro spec cams
- suspension rebuilt with stock springs and bisteins
- brake system, rotors, pads, boosters, etc., all rebuilt to new spec
- body stripped repaired and painted 2 pack match of factory usa spec apple green
- new upholstery, door cards and dash
- rubber matting replaced by black/grey wilton wool carpet
- period correct klippan seat belts
- period correct, restored blaupunkt frankfurt radio
- new vinyl top
- new Pirelli P3000 tires on correct steel wheels and small ring hubcaps
A few negatives
- small oil leak
- clutch spring noise
- radio not connected/no speakers installed
- needs new speedo cable
- windshield has a couple of wiper scratches and chips
asking $25k
I have plenty of photos and more info upon PM request.
Located in Minneapolis, where the car has never seen rain and always dry-stored in winter.
Thanks
