is there any way the single booster setup from a 74 GTV can be dropped into the 69 and work? Is there anyway to bypass the boosters overall and rig the brakes to work?

There have been plenty of discussions on these topics, mostly within the Spider and GTV forums. Do a search. The short answers are that there is no simple way to "drop in" a '74 booster in a '69 GTV. You would need to convert the car to use hanging pedals. This is possible but not what I'd call simple. As to running the system without boosters, this is possible and has been done. Do a search for the details.

You can also run just one booster for the front circuit only.

you can but there is much debate whether is changes the F/R bias.

i just removed both of mine... not perfect pedal feel but more consistent than the twin boosters.

i may try a bigger caliper or possible a smaller MC if i can find another 69 MC to modify.
