I am parting with my alfa and want to post it here before using eBay. The car is in excellent condition and currently has a two litre engine with weber carbs. I also have the original 1300 engine that will go with the car. I'm posting some pics for you to look at, and if there is any interest we can discuss the other details privately. Actually, asking $12K is very reasonable. Presentation is important, you want to include some pictures with scenic background. Good luck with the sale.

Bugger, wish you were in Aus, that is seriously a reasonable price. When I started looking at the pictures I was thinking closer to $20+k. Thats what they go for out here in Aus, given boat-tails are so rare out here.

any idea on what it would take to import to the states?

Duties, etc? Hopefully exempt due to age, but you know how our cgovernments and taxes go. Anyone know?

very easy to do, as the car is over 25 years old so exempt from EPA and DOT requirements

$12K, are you crazy? At least $15K. Put it on ebay. Let's see what is the final sell price. BTW, detail the engine first.

+1 There has been several nice, presentable drivers such as this one sold for $15-20K within the last 12 months....

Nice car. The back left quarter looks to be showing rust and previous bondo. I also sense a color change as the engine bay is blacked out. So depending on the needs of the car the price is most relative.
