I am updating my 164LS with a new 6-speed tranny (John vanRensberg's retrofit). If any one is interested in purchasing my 5-speed transmission that I am taking out, please let me know. It is quite strong, good clutch only 10 to 15k miles since its last clutch update and service (I bought one of John's cars). It is still the car at this moment, if you are local and want to drive it send me a note, if you are not local and want a mechanic to drive it let me know. However, it wont be in the car long.

You are going to love that 6 speed upgrade, especially if you're fitting the Q2 LSD!

I've had my 6sp for almost 2 years now and rowing through those close ratio gears is alot of fun!

yes, I am really looking forward to the big change in the car, the LSD will be the biggest benefit. Should be even more fun to drive
