I have Restoration in my History 12 AR 2000/2600 Touring-Spider and Zagato.
This Project is a special Higlight.
Another "bodywork expert" has previously started with restoration.
Good to see pictures of the unprofessional work and the rape of the bodywork.
Inside the beam simply welded in tubes for reinforcement.
Other people already years ago very badly delettantisch repaired stem left then cut and stopped the work.
No wonder. Up to 4 centimetres the complete stem moved. Unbelievable.
Challenge to start the whole mess from scratch to get a perfect body back on the road.

Bernhard, thanks to your skills and experience, you might be the only person capable of bringing this car back to close to its original state.

It's obvious that whoever worked on this car has no understanding of the structural aspects of the inner rocker panel construction and the lateral sections in the engine compartment.

What's the chassis number of this car?

Hi Ruedi, many thanks.
Your opinion as THE expert makes me especially glad, of course.
Yes, this 2600 TS is very special.
Not a routine job.
Ruedi, we know each other very well and I'm sure you understand that I don't publish VIN and names here on AlfaBB.
Also not all projects ;-)

Something else Ruedi, there are certainly other experts who can know this body professionally.
I know some good professionals who also do very good jobs. Even if I have over 30 years of experience, I keep learning new things. also from other people.

Even if you didn't awesome job!
